REGION "E" EDUCATOR

From the desk of the REGION "E" SENIOR EDUCATORS Michael and Lynne Mischker,

Here it is June already and I’m busier than I wish to be. What if I didn’t have this job? What if I didn’t have to review some national reports by June 16th? What if I didn’t have to prepare a report for a meeting to be held at Wing Ding? What if I didn’t have to prepare a report to my company? I could go on and on BUT……upon thinking of all these things, are not many others that are driving on the highway at the same time I’m on my motorcycle also struggling with many outside influences? The economy, loss of employment, family strife, marital problems are just a few of the outside influences that may affect how the other driver is operating their own automobile. For that matter how about people eating when driving or using a cell phone? (Have you considered signing the cell phone pledge?) WHAT IF? If we do not concentrate on the single task at hand, driving, and do not play the game of “what if”? would we be here tomorrow? Separate your actions into singular more manageable segments. Stay toward the bottom rungs of risk and always play “what if”? In my case everything will probably get done and if it doesn’t I’ve prioritized and my obvious plan is to keep my day job so the report to them is most important. If GWRRA doesn’t quite get their stuff on time I can only hope that they will sanction me, and sentence me to a lifetime of riding my motorcycle with no paperwork. May was “Motorcycle Awareness Month” but don’t let your guard down……………….always play “WHAT IF” and remember that if we weren’t driving motorcycles we probably would have no idea of all the people who got their license in the little package that came inside the Crackerjacks box.
